7. User Data Deletion Instructions & Steps (Meta Platform Terms 4.b Compliant)

In strict compliance with Meta Platform Terms (Section 4.b) and international data protection standards, all Users who can access our application and services worldwide have the unconditional right to request the permanent deletion of their account and all associated personal data, regardless of their nationality, country of residence, or geographic location.

Method 1: Direct Request via Email (Available to All Users Globally)

Any user can request complete deletion of their account and data by following these steps:

1. Send an email from your registered email address to privacy@medigoacademy.com with the subject line: "User Data Deletion Request".
2. In your email, include:
   • Your full name
   • The email address associated with your MediGo Academy account
   • If you registered or signed in via Facebook Login: include your Facebook profile name or Facebook User ID (if available)
3. Timeline & Confirmation: Our Data Protection Officer will acknowledge your request within 48 hours and permanently erase or anonymize your personal data within 30 calendar days. You will receive an official email confirmation once the deletion is finalized.

Method 2: Facebook Login Users (Via Facebook Account Settings)

If you connected to MediGo Academy using Facebook Login, you can remove the application permissions and initiate a data deletion request directly from Facebook:

1. Log into your Facebook account on the web or mobile app.
2. Go to your profile menu and click Settings & Privacy > Settings.
3. In the left sidebar (or menu), navigate to Apps and Websites (or visit Facebook Apps and Websites Settings).
4. Locate MediGo Academy in the active applications list and click Remove.
5. To request deletion of any previously shared data, click on View removed apps and websites, select MediGo Academy, and click Send Request.
6. Facebook will notify us, and we will purge the associated Facebook User ID and profile data. You may also email privacy@medigoacademy.com to verify status.

Scope of Data Deleted & Statutory Retention Exceptions

When your deletion request is completed, MediGo Academy permanently erases:

• Your account profile, credentials, contact information, and preferences.
• Any social login identifier, including Facebook User ID, email, and authentication tokens.
• Support correspondence history and diagnostic activity logs.

Statutory Exceptions: Under prevailing commercial, tax, and medical education accreditation laws, mandatory tax/invoicing records and verifiable completion logs for accredited medical qualifications may be kept in an isolated, non-operational archive strictly for the duration required by applicable statutory limitation periods, after which they are permanently expunged.
